Bus

ACT Internal Omnibuses, known as ACTION buses, are Canberra’s only form of public transport. Tickets can be bought from registered ACTION agents or on board, and a MyWay travel card enables slightly cheaper fares.

Car

Canberra’s streets are wide, toll-free and generally uncongested, which makes for relatively calm inner-city driving. Cars can be hired from the airport and taxis are also plentiful and convenient.
