Disneyland in Anaheim is the original Disney theme park and the only one designed and built under the watchful eye of Walt Disney himself. Opened in 1955, Disneyland has become an iconic destination known throughout the world.
Eight different fantasy lands come to life within this magical park with the most iconic being Main Street U.S.A, a Disney feature found in every Disney Park around the world. The Sleeping Beauty Castle is the central landmark and has become a well know symbol of this famous destination.

Just some of the exciting rides and attractions in the park include the famous Space Mountain rollercoaster, a ride that speeds visitors through the black hole of space. The Twilight Zone Tower of Terror is a mysterious adventure that leads guests on a thrilling tour of a long abandoned hotel where visitors take a thrilling ride in its ‘haunted elevator’.
Big Thunder Mountain Railroad is always a favourite. This runaway train offers a thrilling ride through the western desert. And dare to visit the Haunted Mansion filled with its spooky inhabitants.
Located southeast of downtown Los Angeles, Disneyland is situated just off of U.S. Interstate 5 in Anaheim, CA. From Los Angeles take exit 110B for Disneyland Drive. Turn left on Disneyland Drive and follow the signs to the park which is just a short distance away. Public transport is available on the Orange County Rail Line which serves the Anaheim Amtrak/Metrolink Station. From here there is an Anaheim Resort Transit Bus #15 which takes visitors to the theme park.
