Experience the myriad marine life of French Polynesia up close at the Bora Bora Lagoonarium. As the name suggests, this interactive aquatic adventure offers all the wonder of an aquarium visit but takes the experience to the next level with three separate enclosed tanks for the opportunity to swim and enjoy close encounters with tropical marine life.

Located on a private islet (motu) off Motu Piti Anau, the family-owned outdoor aquarium provides guided tours of the Lagoonarium where you can snorkel and interact with variety of lagoon and open-water fish and marine life including turtles, sharks, rays, jackfish and parrotfish. The schools of fish are accustomed to visitors and the experienced guides will show you how to approach and handle the different fish and marine life. You can also handfeed the schools of fish and watch the popular daily ray and shark feeding demonstrations.

The Lagoonarium offers three tours: a full-day combination tour from 8:45am to 3:30pm; half-day morning combination tour from 8:45am to 12:30pm and half-day afternoon tour from 1pm to 3:45pm. The full-day tour is CFP9,500 for adults and CFP4,750 for children aged three to 10, and includes access to the Lagoonarium, a circle tour of Bora Bora on a motorised outrigger canoe, the shark and ray feeding exhibition, a visit to the Bora Bora coral gardens and a barbecue lunch on the beach. The morning tour (CFP7,250 for adults and CFP3,625 for kids aged three to 10) takes in the Lagoonarium, a condensed circle tour of Bora Bora on outrigger canoes and a visit to the coral gardens. The afternoon tour is CFP6,200 for adults and CFP3,100 for children aged three to 10 with access to the Lagoonarium.

To visit Bora Bora Lagoonarium, the tours depart from hotels on Bora Bora and from Vaitape Harbour Terminal and return to your original departure point after the excursion concludes.
