Bogotá has the TransMilenio system, a network of buses with stations arranged in six major routes. There are several bus lines that reach the main avenues in the downtown area. All ground transportation stops are located at the terminal's exits.

Car Hire

Car hires desks are located within the terminal. Companies include Avis, Dollar, Thrifty, Honk and Zoom. You can book your car online to guarantee availability.

Check-in

Check-in counters, ticket counters, immigration office and customs are located on the lower level while information boards, information office, waiting rooms and emigration are located on the upper level.

Airline Lounges

The following airlines have lounges located within the airport. For access to specific lounges, refer to your airline.

American Airlines - American Airlines has an Admirals Club located just past immigration, below Departure Gate 7 in the main El Dorado terminal. International arriving passengers must have a valid, same-day ticket for departure permitting access through security. The lounge is open daily from 5:30am - midnight. Lounge facilities include complimentary Wi-fi and PCs with internet access.

Avianca Airlines - VIP Lounges are located in both terminals and are open daily. Lounge facilities include complimentary Wi-fi, auto check-in, alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, snacks and fruit, TV and reading materials and PCs with internet access.

Copa Airlines - The Sala Elite lounge is located in the National terminal between gates 3 and 5 at the main entrance to the concourse. The lounge operates from 5:00am - 9:00am daily. Lounge facilities include refreshments, telpehones, television and Wi-fi.

Terminal Transfers

There are two passenger terminals, El Dorado and Puente Aéreo. The main terminal (El Dorado) handles all international and domestic arrivals, except Avianca's domestic flights. The second terminal (Puente Aéreo) is a privately owned terminal that exclusively serves Avianca's and its subsidiary's SAM's domestic and regional flights. Buses run frequently between the two terminals.
